Radar - Tips & Tricks for safety and comfort
Radar is coming down in price, but few really know how to use it. This informative uses
sophisticated modeling software used by the USCG to display active scenarios compared to
charts. It's fun and informative!
Rules of the Road - Buoyage
Lots of photos and diagrams showing different buoyage and crossing scenarios - with light
patterns overlayed on photos for explicit description. When does a power boat have right-of-way
over a sailboat? The official "Rules" does define a "long" blast of the horn, how come? What are the
most common lighting infractions on sailboats? A great presentation that all boaters should attend.
